The school holidays are finally over and the AvAs are back in the saddle! On this month’s show:

Songs and stories of The Dirty Blues with Lady Lavender; The English Collective of Prostitutes with updates on their work against police raids and deportations and trade unions supporting sex workers; The South London based writer and performer Len Lukowski.

Len writes mostly poetry, lyrics and short stories and plays in the bands Faggot, Twinken Park, and Broke Straight Boys. Queerness, transness, cruising, sex work, boring office jobs, mental health, self-sabotage, foxes and the cat bin lady often come up in his work.

We’ll also play some loose and wanton music and Horribly questionable tunes.
